PLANNING / Microsoft:
CDW Exclusive Comdex |
In search of a creative and unique format to increase product
exposure, Microsoft and CDW worked with The Fusion Factory to
produce the Microsoft/CDW Exclusive Comdex. Fashioned after the
national Comdex IT trade exhibition, the “mini” Comdex
brought together Microsoft product managers and CDW’s downtown
and suburbs sales reps for a one-day technology exhibit in a carnival-type
atmosphere. Event activities for the Microsoft/CDW Exclusive Comdex
were designed to increase CDW sales reps’ motivation to
learn more about the variety of Microsoft products they are selling
in a casual, fun environment.
The Microsoft/CDW Exclusive Comdex was greatly received by
Microsoft and CDW reps. Attendance exceeded over 1,500 reps
and participation at the event was one of the best ever at a
product information event.
