PUBLIC RELATIONS / Yahoo! Human Coupon Promotion
On behalf oh Yahoo! Inc., The Fusion Factory implemented the promotional element of a highly successful marketing “buzz” campaign in Denver, Colorado and Tempe, Arizona by executing the first-ever Human Coupon promotion to connect with the local community and promote the Qwest-sponsored Yahoo! LAUNCH Concert Series.

To support Yahoo! and Qwest Communications’ business to consumer marketing efforts, The Fusion Factory sought maximum event exposure by researching, negotiating and coordinating logistics to set up Human Coupon activities, including a signage-wrapped Hummer vehicle at prime properties and venues in each city. The unique promotion transformed high school and college students into “human coupons.” Students received free, bar-coded t-shirts that were scanned on the spot to determine if they had won an instant prize for tickets to “The Starting Line,” one of the bands in the LAUNCH Concert Series. In addition to coordinating event logistics, The Fusion Factory collaborated with Yahoo! and Qwest Communications to incorporate company key messages into media outreach efforts.
